TELUS TRIPLE CHALLENGE

BLUE MOUNTAIN – MARCH 8-10, 2007

Blue Mountain Resort kicks off Ontario’s March Break with one of Canada’s biggest spring pro-ams – the TELUS Triple Challenge Ski & Snowboard Festival, March 8-10. Over $30,000 in cash and prizes are up for grabs in ski Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Big Air and Rail Jam. The pro Big Air and Rail Jam boast the biggest cash and each features a night final under the lights at the Blue Village Base. Expect some of Canada’s top pros to throw down. SBC SKIER will be there covering all the action.

The Pro Rail Jam finals take place 7-9pm Friday, March 9 featuring a two rail Best Trick contest – $500 per rail. The Mars Pro Big Air Finals go 7-9pm Saturday, March 10 featuring $3,000 for 1st place, $1,500 for 2nd, and $1000 for 3rd. You can watch both night finals from the Coors Light Heated Roof Top Patio Party at Grand Central lodge. On Saturday night don’t miss the TELUS Triple Challenge Coors Light After Party featuring Montreal’s DJ Champion at Grand Central lodge.

Check out live bands Weybourne Project and The Quarry on the TELUS Triple Challenge Main Stage while the Mars Pro Air Qualifiers go off on Saturday afternoon 12:30-4pm, all at the base of Silver Bullet Chairlift (Smart Alec run) next to Grand Central lodge at Village base.

Thursday is devoted to Pro-Am Halfpipe and Friday to Pro-Am Slopestyle in Blue’s Badlands Snowpark. Registration for both events is open to all riders and takes place in Blue’s Cascade 2 room at the Blue Mountain Inn base lodge.
