Women-Specific |
| Plainly put, the women-specific ski market is blowing up. By no means a comprehensive list of all women’s skis available (we’d need another magazine for that), we’ve included two models for each brand in the hopes of satisfying the growing thirst for women’s gear. |
Armada ARW ($689)
| 161, 166, 171 (114/82/104 at 166 cm, 18.8-metre radius) |
A scaled-down version of the AR6 with a “woman’s touch,” X Games gold medalist Grete Eliassen has tailored this ski, adding more flex and subtracting unnecessary weight. A Seven Series base makes it tough on the outside but soft in the middle—much like your head. |
Armada Cantika ($575)
| 150, 157, 164, 171 (121/85/111 at 171 cm, 17.6-metre radius) |
A fatter alternative to the ARW, the Cantika offers a deep sidecut, lightweight wood core, and Armada’s Torsion Sock construction. A big-mountain-friendly stick, this ski still sports a true twin-tip and a base tough enough to handle rails. |
Atomic She Devil ($399.99)
| 155, 163, 174 (111.7/81/1050.7 at 164 cm, 19-metre radius) |
Atomic saves the best of its graphics for this aggressive-looking women’s model. Wood core, slanted sidewall, and a UHMW transparent base round out the options. |

| 150, 1575, 164, 171 (119/79/105 at 164 cm, 16.5-metre radius) |
Atomic’s famous race heritage pays off big in its trickle-down effect. This year’s Sugar Mama is no stranger to that heritage with its reinforced 4tix trackplate and UHMW Electra graphite base. |
