When eastern skiers discuss up-and-comers in Ontario, the name Max Hill is inevitably brought up. In fact, most of the time it comes first and for good reason. In contrast to the contest clones that have the uniqueness of a pet rock, Hill stands out because of his style on skis, which is matched only by his style of dress; you've never seen a Shifty look so sick, even back when they used to be called Twisters. This past winter, a film part in Theory-3 Media's new film, PNW, took Hill out West to shoot in mountains slightly bigger than the Collingwood peaks he is used to. The result is sure to turn heads. Paired with impressive comp results, Hill's film part is bound to put his ironic moniker on the lips of more than just Easterners.
