Aspen, CO – Vernon, BC's TJ Schiller proved once again he is among the best skiers in the world with his silver medal performance in Big Air at X-Games 14, but the defending X-Games Slopestyle champ could not overcome Bobby Brown's perfect score in the finals!
On two of his seven runs, Brown scored a perfect 50. Those scores gave him an unprecedented perfect score of 100, sealing his gold medal. Schiller took the silver with a score of 95. “I am beyond stoked,” Brown said. “It is the best feeling ever. The level of competition was insane and we were feeding off each other. When I saw TJ throw his trick, I knew I had to throw something really big.” That something big was a switch-double misty 1440 – four full rotations in the air. X-Games Big Air Podium. “It is so exciting to see how good everyone is,” Schiller added. “I couldn’t believe Bobby had a perfect score. No one has ever done that, ever.” Seventeen year old Elias Ambuhl of Switzerland took home the bronze with a score of 90.
