Mississauga, ON (October 25, 2012) – EIRA, is the international ski outerwear and clothing brand developed in Canada. Our mission is to provide the freeskier with a brand to call their own. Our goal is to be 100% sustainable by using environmentally conscious materials through all aspects of design and development.
Eira’s Fall 2012 outerwear line continues to consist of two unique collections of jackets and pants designed to appeal to all levels of skiing ability. Each product category features distinct styling, fabric and colour direction offering a new perspective for the design conscious, active ski consumer. Eira’s product has the latest in fabric and insulation technologies while meeting the eco-conscious demands of today’s snow sport enthusiast.
The Fall 2012 product can be previewed on the new Eira website – www.eiraski.com. Information regarding the brand efforts, the technologies and the Eira team can be found on this newly designed site. An updated dealer listing is available to find current retailers by region – and now offers the ability to shop online.
Eira is also pleased to announce that Peter Olenick has been named the team manager. Peter is a four time X Games medalist, including a gold medal in the SuperPipe High Air event. He is the world record holder in the highest air ever in a half pipe. Peter will be responsible for managing two other iconic athletes in the freeski community – Ian Cosco and Joe Schuster. All three riders have signed onto the Eira brand until 2014, and will help to build a larger roster of Eira athletes in the coming years.
Eira’s Fall 2013 collection will be available for preview November 2012. Eira product will also be available for viewing at the SIA, and other major Ski and Snowboard shows across North America.
