It’s Already Session Four at Momentum Ski Camp!

This week Salomon Skier Mike Henituik our “Rail Jedi” was in Whistler along with Iannick B who returned for another session. In total there were more than sixty campers on the hill ripping in the hot weather for the second week in a row.
It was great to see Mike throw down on many of the features, he has a smooth style that is original and not easy to mimic. Our very own Salomon DJ Dakota rocked Mometum twice this session with the best Reggae beats around. Between musical interludes and Salomon hotdogs, even Tanner Hall joined in for the session while his favorite music was rockin.
Our Head Momentum Digger, Trey and his crew were exhausted after this week due to the almost 30 degree heat and the relentless sun killing the lanes. The Momentum digging crew is like an army of ants moving huge rails and mounds of snow with only a few shovels and pure digging determination. The money Salomon booter has been the main attraction all week with only a few biffing the 70 foot beast.
TJ Schiller and Tanner Hall’s double back flips seemed to be the flavor this session. I should also mention that we had the best night photo shoot I have ever seen. Props to our “late night bowling/tipping crew” that killed the backcountry with some great rock bowling skills! Ride Guide was up shooting a segment that will air some time in the fall. Stay tuned.
The vibe up at Momentum Ski Camp is that this is where you find the best terrain, most knowledgeable coaches and the sickest DJ. Only two more sessions until the 2007 glacier camps wrap up and we have to wait until next summer.
Enough talk I’ve got to go ski!
Peace!
