Momentum Ski Camp Session #1 (Adult Camp), Whistler, BC
Week 1 brought campers many surprises, POWDER being the best thing of all with more than 2 feet of freshies in 48 hours! Salomon sponsored DJ Dakota threw beats down while campers got there jib on. We had our new 07/08 Salomon fleet of freestyle skis ready to demo and the feed-back was sick!
The level of determination the adult campers possessed in the first week was unbelievable. From never spinning 360’s to almost getting 900’s, adult campers killed it in both Freeride and Mogul camps. With help from the Coaches, the determined skiers tried something new that they had never thrown down before.
Big ups to George Schaaf for going for it every day with a broken hand and mastering the self proclaimed “screamer grind to switch”. Mentions go to Chris for trying so hard for his 720’s on the “Salomon Booter” and not giving up even on the last day with the fog level rising in his Mogul grudge matches.
